Dungeons & Dragons Online Enters The Realms
Six years after it was firstborn launched, Dungeons &A; Dragons Online eventually gives players a chance to explore the Forgotten Realms.
If you know anything about Dungeons & Dragons, it's likely tied to the Forgotten Realms campaign setting. The vast absolute majority of the games, novels, and most widely loved ephemera the game has produced get place within that setting, thus IT was a moderately problematic act when developer Turbine INC. opted to set Dungeons & Dragons Online inside the newer (albeit less dear) Eberron universe. "2011 was a year of development for Dungeons & Dragons Online As we celebrated our fifth anniversary and realised a successful launch of the game in Europe," said Fernando Paiz, Administrator Producer of Dungeons & Dragons Online. "2012 is expiration to be our biggest year yet with a wealth of new content end-to-end the year including the launch of our first expansion pack. We are very teased to expand into the Disregarded Realms setting with a whole new plot line, level cap increase and the new Druid sort out!"
As per usual for MMO expansions, the feature list seems tailored to long-time players. That new Druid character class should be a welcome site to all D&adenosine monophosphate;D fans who unhorse on scampering through the woods and talk to inhalation general anesthetic wolf spirits, while the newly expanded level cap volition offer players a find to hit level 25 (and thus, "Epic" status — which is rather a big deal).
